While favors are not necessary more couples then not opt to have favors available for their guests. It’s always special when the favors are representative of the bride and groom or maybe something that represents the “local flavor”. For a recent wedding I coordinated the groom is very much the “griller”. He loves all meats smoked or grilled. For the favors we worked with a local spice company to develop a blend that represented them. For inspiration, think about what represents you as a couple and let your creativity flow. If you just can’t think of a favor that is special enough to represent you as a couple it’s always nice to donate the money you had allocated for favors to a charity. You can easily print an announcement nicely framed to let guests know of your generosity in their honor.
